Episode Recap (Warning: Spoilers ahead!):
Lauren has realized that her feelings towards Doug have cooled since Laguna, and she confides in Whitney at work. Whitney meanwhile has to fly out to New York City as per Kelly’s orders. She arrives in the New York office for People’s Revolution in time to help out with the casting of several HOT male models. Kelly (owner of the company) asks one of the models to hang out with them for drinks later tonight.
Heidi and the ever lovable Spencer go out to eat and talk about Stephanie, Spencer’s sister. Heidi tells Spencer that she thinks he should patch things up with Stephanie since they are brother and sister. Spencer replies that he thinks (sarcastically, of course) that Heidi should just go hang out with Lauren Conrad and his sister Stephanie. Heidi replies “well maybe I will hang out with them.” She is clearly fed up with Spencer’s antics.
Lauren meets up with Brody for dinner and she shows him her “friendship” bracelets. One of them is for Stephanie. Brody warns Lauren that she shouldn’t trust Stephanie.
Whitney meets up with the male model Alex at a bar. Kelly calls in the middle of their chat and says that nobody else is showing up, that it’s only Whitney and Alex. They chat for a bit.
Lauren goes to visit Stephanie at her apartment and they have a short friendly chat.
Whitney and model Alex end up spending the evening alone since the others cancel. They take a short walk around Soho and they seem to get along pretty well.
Lauren and Whitney talk the next day at work about what happened in NYC. Whitney tells Lauren that she kind of likes Alex.
Stephanie goes to visit Spencer and brings him a great book – Secret History of The CIA – which he likes, but he says that they won’t be hanging out anytime soon.
Lauren goes to visit Doug at his house and tells him that it just isn’t working for her. Doug responds that he is really disappointed because he thinks Lauren is “different than any girl he’s known”. They both agree though that it was “really fun”.
Episode Review:
Overall this was a pretty good episode… one has to wonder what will happen next with Lauren’s and Whitney’s lives. I’m glad this episode focused more on Whitney because her story line is still pretty interesting and fresh. (I still despise her boss Kelly though!) It’s interesting to see Lauren single again as well. Who will she choose to be her next love interest? As for Heidi and Spencer, well… no comment.
Episode Screen Shots:

Audrina is right to be hesitant to be friends with Lauren. Lo is an outright bitch! Seriously.
I can’t believe that Lauren dumped Doug, he is such a hottie and he seems really nice. I hope this is not the end of Doug on the Hills.
On another note, did anyone watch BH 90210 last night and how they dropped the Hills and how Eric (I think that’s his name) wants to be the next Spencer. I was laughing out loud when I watched that.
Sorry it’s not Eric it’s Ethan
I absolutely hate Spencer, he is such an a******! I don’t care if his part is fake or not he is always making someone upset or cry. He should know that what comes around goes around. What a miserable human being he must be.
