Episode 58: We’ll Never Be Friends

Lauren, Heidi, Whitney, Audrina and Spencer are back!

The episode starts off with Lauren at work talking to Whitney about her upcoming date with an old boyfriend Doug, with whom she went to (his) prom with. Meanwhile, Heidi is at work talking to her coworker Kimberly about how her sister Holly is coming to visit. The problem is that her sister doesn’t know Spencer has moved back in. Audrina talks to her friend Chiara at work about how Lauren is throwing her a pool party/barbecue for her birthday. Audrina also mentions to Chiara that Lo is pretty “bitchy” and that they don’t really get along very well.

Lauren and her date go to Red Pearl Kitchen in Los Angeles. Lauren is clearly smitten with him and invites him to go to Audrina’s birthday pool party.

Heidi and Spencer get into a little spat in front of Holly. Other than that Holly has a good time staying with them and mentions she wants to move out to LA.

The day of the party arrives. Audrina tells Lauren and Lo that she invited Justin and some of the other people she’s been hanging out with lately. Lo gets kind of catty by hinting around that she doubts any of them will show up.

Heidi and Holly go to Prive Salon and talk a little bit about Heidi and Spencer and Lauren.

Lauren gets increasingly frustrated with the situation between Audrina and Lo. Lo stayed upstairs during Audrina’s party. Audrina didn’t seem to care and doesn’t really make an effort to befriend Lo. Lo confronts Audrina about this, and Audrina utters the words… “We’ll never be friends.”

Overall, this was a great season premiere episode. I can’t decide if Lo is being overly bitchy and mean or if Audrina is. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. There were some really juicy upcoming scene sneak peaks at the end of this episode.

    ahh i am excited that i got my cable back and can watch this show, lol (just don’t tell anyone). Having said that, this is the first episode I’ve seen since Lauren discovered Stephanie Pratt was in her class…yeah its been awhile…who the heck is Lo? She seems pretty out of place in the show, even though she’s supposed to be one of Lauren’s best friends. I love the catty drama…

    Lo is a friend of Lauren’s from highschool. She was on the show Laguna Beach and they were best friends. It’s funny because Lo was kind of evil then too. I remember this one episode when Lauren was not doing well in math and she was talking to Lo about it and hoping that her parents would not get upset because I think that they were planning a trip or something. Anyways when Lauren parents found out they were upset and grounded Lauren and Lo was there and she agreed with Lauren’s parents saying that she should be responsible and should be keeping up with her grades. She was saying this while eating a bowl of popcorn and smiling at Lauren. I was like WOW! Cannot believe you just did that.
